Heidi Montag’s Recovery from Plastic Surgery

Heidi Montag, missing in action since her jaw-dropping plastic surgery, is now prepping for projects due for the coming year. She is now settling into her body which had undergone a whooping 10 cosmetic surgery procedures in one day.

The former star from The Hills had a series of surgeries that had transformed her and made her talk of the town. She was the cover of People magazine on the early part of the year 2010 for undergoing such procedures on November 20, 2009. Insecurities and Hollywood pressure had pushed her to go under the knife (recommended reading) as she admitted that she had been made fun when she was younger.

Her surgeries included:

1.       Mini brow lift
2.       Botox in forehead and frown area
3.       Revision rhinoplasty
4.       Fat injections in cheeks, nasolabial folds and lips
5.       Chin reduction
6.       Ear pinning
7.       Liposuction in the neck
8.       Liposuction in hips, waist and inner and lower thighs
9.       Buttock augmentation
10.   Breast augmentation revision

The experience she had with plastic surgery marked her own decline from the public eye. She is way into her recovery. Her plastic surgeon told her that it might take her about 2 years fully recover and she feels that her strength and health is coming back. She plans on taking out the bikini she has been hiding while her scars had been healing.

The former starlet said she will not want to go through it again and would not recommend it for anyone. She was happy however that her surgeries went well and it shows on the transformations that it made on her, physically, emotionally and mentally. A lot of things had changed for Heidi and she might be having a comeback on the spotlight soon. It only reminds people that plastic surgery is a double-edged knife – it can make you or break you.

  1. Heidi Montag looks beautiful! From the nose down to the boob job, everything went well! I hope she won’t have any complications in the future. It’ll be best if she would still consult her surgeon or physician every now and then.
